September 11, 2006 — The NCCR Co-Me congratulates the General Manager. He has been elected to chair the first Professorship for Material Science in Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel.

Endoscopic Course for Paranasal Sinus and Skull Base Surgery

July 13, 2006 — Best Paper Award given for his podium presentation at the annual CAOS-International meeting.

Strong media interest in TcMRgFUS installation

June 15, 2006 — The arrival of the first european research prototype of a Transcranial Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound System at the MR-Center of the University Children’s Hospital, Zurich on June, 15th was covered by local and national media.

wins ECR Award 2006

April 5, 2006 — Congratulations to our Co-Me research grant winner 2005 PD, radiologist at the University Hospital Bern. She received the first prize for her scientific presentation “Diffusion-weighted MRI of renal allografts: A comparative study to healthy volunteers” of 2006 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna, Austria.

Co-Me surgical simulation project at Hannover Messe

February 9, 2006 — Co-Me researcher Matthias Harders, head of the Virtual Reality in Medicine Group at the Computer Vision Lab of ETH Zurich is in the spotlight as leader of the hysteroscopy simulator project. The simulator system is going to be a highlight of the Swiss presence at the Hannover Messe (April 24-26, 2006).
